    I started HHH in 2011 since I wasn't satisfied with the quality and variety of holsters on the market. Pure leather holsters eventually lost their shape and retention while pure Kydex holsters felt like a giant Lego pinching your side by the end of the day.     Bulky and uncomfortable

    The holster is well made with what appear to be quality materials and was provided with extra hardware. After trialing it for a few days I find it quite bulky and very uncomfortable for IWB carry. It is less so for OWB carry, but it is stiff and difficult to apply to belt and waistband. The leather pancake is definitely the problem. I will continue to try it, hoping I can figure out how best to use it but so far it has not been a comfortable experience.

    We know that wearing a 5-inch double stacked 1911 Inside the Waistband may have some chalenges. May I suggest removing the clips for IWB carry and wearing the holster on your belt for a few days. This way you can adjust the carry position along your belt throughout the day. At some point you will hopefully forget that you are wearing the Tac Ultra pistol. This is where your body likes it to be carried and finds it to be most comfortable. To then wear it IWB again, that position will help with the comfort. Simply put the clips back on and start off where you body prefers it. Every order has a 30-Day trial period so that our customers can take their time and try out every order. If it does not work out for you in that time period simply mail it back to us for a refund.

    I have 2. One original from 2015 and it is great! I purchased this one and it’s the same great quality as the original. They move with your body and stand up to rigorous use! I highly recommend this and I teach firearm safety to other police officers, I recommend them to the officers and not one complaint!
