    I started HHH in 2011 since I wasn't satisfied with the quality and variety of holsters on the market. Pure leather holsters eventually lost their shape and retention while pure Kydex holsters felt like a giant Lego pinching your side by the end of the day. And so from my garage in Ohio I started tinkering with both leather AND Kydex. After many iterations, I finally came up with something that worked for both my family and myself.     I called to switch from the E M P to a springfield loaded 1911 I think the kydex shell was for a standard 1911 because I had to file a relief for my rear sight. besides that and having to adjust the tension screws to maxed in the holster is very comfortable I wear it all the time. thanks to you I am once again carrying my most trusted firearm. thankyou

    Sorry about the sight. That is odd. Do you have the Loaded 1911 or the Loaded Target 1911? We would have made the corrections for you at no charge if the sight channel was wrong. We do have two adjustable retention screws in all of our holsters so that you can adjust the retention to your preference.
