Small of the Back Holster – Palm Out Draw

Worn in the center of your back, for carriers who want the gun completely out of the way and out of sight.

How you draw: Reach behind you with your palm facing out and your knuckles against your back. Your hand comes in behind the gun and grabs the grip.

Please note: Because of this palm-out draw, a right-hand small of the back holster can look like a left-hand holster when you take it out of the package. That's correct – it's built this way on purpose. See the photos to see how it's worn.

Prefer a palm-in draw (palm against your body)? Order a Right Hand Appendix holster for your gun instead. If you draw left-handed, order a Left Hand Appendix holster.

Kydex for the gun. Leather for you.

An all-Kydex holster against your back and a car seat behind you? Not a comfortable combo. For small of the back carry, a comfortable hybrid holster is a must. Your Taurus GX2 3.38 inch Barrel holster splits the work between two materials:

• Gun side: molded .093" Kydex. Formed tight to your Taurus GX2 3.38 inch Barrel for secure retention and structure, without extra bulk.
• Body side: 9–10 oz leather with a suede face. Thick leather that forms to the curve of your back, with suede that keeps the holster comfortable, dry and in place.

Every holster is built by hand in our shop. The backing is heavy 9–10 oz leather from Amish leather makers a few minutes down the road. They know their leather, and it's built to be worn every day. (No Amish were harmed in the making of this holster.)

• Anything different about your gun? Aftermarket sights, an ambi safety, an extended mag release or another add-on: tell us in the "accessories or unique features" box when you order, and we'll account for it.
• Fit depends on you, too. Comfort varies with your build, belt and carry position. Try the ride height and cant adjustments before you decide.
• Lifetime warranty. Covers defects in materials and workmanship on the Kydex shell and leather backing under normal use. Belt clips and screws are wear parts and aren't covered.
